When I squint my eyes
I bend the light just right
Prisms that illuminate beyond what is me
I find answers within the spectrum of what we can’t see
Ideas undefined
Thoughts and dreams unrefined
Furious red-green mushroom clouds drift by
A placid blue-yellow sea meets the sky
I would name these colors that I find
But then they would not be mine
I could share them with others
But this would rob them of their own discovery
I see that I’m not alone
For after all, we share the same dust
In each other we must love—and care—and trust
For our own sakes, we must
The ether—the mist—the emptiness
This is where we lose our way
When you grasp and find nothing but despair
Squint your eyes and find the color in the air
Trust me—its right there
Its right here
Just walk in through the out door
It’s a short journey
To preserve the joy and guard the peace

Magenta doesn't exist because it has no wavelength; there's no place for it on the spectrum. The only reason we see it is because our brain doesn't like having green (magenta's complement) between purple and red, so it substitutes a new thing.
Chimerical color
Stygian blue
Hyperbolic orange
