You were disassembled and reassembled
But something went missing
Like that last puzzle piece that leaves an irregular void
A little thing, but the biggest thing
A small bit of matter that matters the most

The keystone to your soul, the key to me
You try to make the hole a part of you
You desperately hope the hole can make you whole
You panic that you have ceased to be

Then you wake up and know you are loved
Are reminded that an atom defines the element and all its traits
You are loved for each piece and part and however it all comes together
Your thoughts— and voice—and smile—and laugh— and moods—and sighs

You are reminded that we are mostly void anyway—empty space
It is the tiny pieces amidst this cloud of you
in orbit and flinging around and about
A beautiful messy collage of you
